This is a heat activated tape for adhering dies to the press.
 
It is applied by simply placing a piece of tape on the back of the die and then bringing the heated chase in contact with the die for a few minutes.
 
It can be used for adhering foam support on cylinder presses. It is also used for mounting embossing plastic onto a Pertinax or Epoxy glassboard makeready base which again is particularly useful when using a cylinder press.
