Foil Cutters

Our foil cutters were designed by our sister company, B&H Print Engineers Ltd, who began manufacturing them in 1988. Our aim when designing the foil cutter was to help customers reduce their foils costs by giving them the option to do this in house. Created with our customers in mind, bit of kit is a must for any business requiring shorter widths of foil and wanting to decrease spending on expensive pay per cuts long term.

Main Features

A Circular Knife Blade (including safety cover) - For effortless cutting. This also allows for the blade to be rotated when its starting to seem dull, reducing the need to keep replacing it.
Single Phase Motor - Meaning you can plug this in to a standard plug socket (UK) anywhere in your building.
A Quick Release Chuck - For fast and secure cutting
Maximum Roll Size - 110mm Diameter (equal to a 305Mtrs on the Roll), 880mm Length (from flat end to flat end)

Optional Extras

Over the years many of our customers have requested for their foils to be rewound from a standard core (1") onto 5/8th" cores, while we are happy to do this from our factory, we decided to give our customers the option to do this themselves. Ideal for those placing frequent larger orders and wanting to reduce the extra costs involved with us doing this for them.

With that in mind we redesigned our foil cutters to have a rewind facility. This is an extra Bar plus separate Chuck designed for the smaller cores, the extra bar fittings do not interfere with the cutting capability of the foil cutter.

The Add on is particularly beneficial to those who are running this foil on a 10" X 15" (26 x 38cm) Platen with bottom to top foil pull and is restricted to a 5/8th" core and only 200ft of foil (16mm x 61Mtrs)
